Graduate Degrees and Programs

Master of Business Administration

The Master of Business Administration program enhances the managerial effectiveness of leaders in business, government and not-for-profit organizations.  Classes are held evenings to accommodate working professionals. Individuals of all educational and professional backgrounds are encouraged to apply.  The School of Business offers the following programs:

  • MBA - TIM Emphasis/Technology & Innovation Management
  • MBA - Health Care Management Emphasis

  • Master of Science in Nursing/Master of Business

The School of Business is fully accredited by the AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing

The Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing is an innovative process-oriented program in the fields of poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction intended for independent adults who wish to develop and pursue careers as writers.  The program offers a substantial range of on- and off-campus experiences including the mentorship of nationally known writers and editors.

Master of Arts in Education

The Master of Arts in Education meets the needs of educators by offering the following degrees:

  • MA in Education with Residency Certification
  • MA in Education: Instructional Leadership (for certified teachers)
  • MA in Education: Principal Certification (may be taken for certification only)

Other post-baccalaureate programs are offered such as teacher certification, alternative routes to teacher certification, and add-on endorsements for teachers.

The School of Education is accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).

Master of Arts - Marriage and Family Therapy

The Master of Arts - Marriage and Family Therapy program is designed to develop professional skills and clinical competence via a relational approach to family therapy with a rigorous practicum component.  The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.

Master of Science in Nursing

The Master of Science in Nursing offers an integrated approach to knowledge and clinical competencies essential to advanced nursing practice. Programs are designed for both BSN prepared RNs and for students with previous non-nursing baccalaureate degrees. Two concentrations are offered:

  • Care and Outcomes Manager (Clinical Nurse Educator, Clinical Nurse Leader, Clinical Nurse Specialist)
  • Family Nurse Practitioner (ARNP licensure)
