We are fortunate...
The PLU Diversity Center A positive, comfortable space for exploring all kinds of issues, meeting new friends, and engaging in unique programs, the dCenter has been one of our biggest backers since we started. Many of our members spend time daily in the center, just chillin' out (some of us even double as Rieke Scholars!) and Angie and the dAdvocates never fail to make us feel welcome and loved. Watch for us during popular dCenter programs like Multicultural Night and Global Get-Down! Campus MinistryWhile we acknowledge and support friends of all different walks of life, our club does do our part here to honor PLU's Lutheran heritage. Plus, you might spot a few Campus Ministry folk in the luau, and we've also been known to make an appearance at weekday-morning chapel.Clubs & Orgs OfficeWhere else would we have a club locker, a
place to have board meetings, and unlimited poster-making material? The
Clubs & Orgs office is a unique, amazing resource for all clubs on
this campus, us included! Want more information about how to start/join
a club? Email Clubs & Orgs at clubs@plu.edu or better yet, visit the Clubhouse, downstairs in the UC!Student Involvement & LeadershipSIL is THE PLACE to learn about what it takes to be involved on this campus. Here you'll find a wealth of resources about getting involved in just about anything, whether it's student government leadership, writing for the Mast, or helping out with orientation for first-years. There are many, many different positions open each year for students to expans their leadership horizons, so go check them out -- SIL just happens to be staffed by the most friendly people on campus. =]Office of Constituent RelationsWhether your days as a PLU student may feel like they ended last May or
May of 1931, you are a Lute for Life! Look here for event updates and
other great reasons to come home for a visit to your alma mater, along
with opportunities to connect with other alumni on campus or at a town
near you. |
