I love to garden and read.  Currently, I'm
a bicycle enthusiast.  My 2 kids are no longer teenagers.  I really enjoy my job
because PLU students are so great!

I love partnering with students to assess health needs and treatment plan development.  My passions outside of nursing and my family are varied including:  outdoor activities and sports, gardening, art appreciation, wine tasting and travel.  My husband and I have two artistic, creative daughters who are out of high school.  We are building a log home near Mt. Rainier.

 Staff

Physician Assistants (PAs) are health professionals with advanced education and clinical training that qualifies them to practice medicine under the supervision of a physician.
Nurse Practitioners    ( NPs ) are registered nurses with advanced education and clinical training that qualifies them to diagnose and manage acute and chronic illness.


The doctor is in.

Dr. Alston is at the Health Center on Thursday afternoons.  Students are often referred to him for a second opinion or visits can be scheduled with him by request.
