The PLU Student Health Center provides
pre-travel counseling, immunizations, and prescriptions for
travel. Physical exams and lab tests needed for some overseas
programs are available. An appointment is required for travel
consultation. Please plan to schedule your consultation at least
6 weeks ahead of the departure date to allow adequate time for
immunization schedules.
Immunization recommendations vary depending on
location, length of stay and personal preferences. In general,
the less developed the location and the longer the stay results in more
precautions recommended. Go to the immunizations page for information on each travel vaccine.
