• Homework:
  There will be daily assignments. Late work is not accepted under any conditions, no matter the excuse; though your worst assignment will be dropped from your total when calculating your grade.
  
  You are encouraged to discuss the homework with your classmates and/or with the instructor during office hours or via e-mail. The work that you turn in, however, should be your own.
  
  
• Tests & Quizzes:
  There will be several quizzes; (total points earned)/(total points possible) will determine your quiz percentile. Tentative dates for the quizzes will be: 2/17, 3/2, 3/16, 4/13, 4/27, and 5/11. The in-class test will be held on 3/23, and the comprehensive final exam is on 5/22 at 11 in the morning.
  
  
• Weather:
  If a class is cancelled due to inclement weather, any assignments or tests scheduled for the cancelled day will be scheduled for the next class day. For example, an assignment due at the beginning of class on a cancelled Friday will automatically be collected at the beginning of class the following Monday.
