FT; Monday – Friday; 7:30am – 4:30pm

General Description

Position is responsible for performing and coordinating a wide variety of administrative and secretarial duties for the Social Sciences division. Individual will also provide guidance and assistance to others within department when necessary. Position is one of two within the division working with individual departments, and reporting to the Dean. This position provides the first point of contact for all visitors to the department either in person or via the telephone. Work is performed in close relationship with constituents from across campus. Most assignments are carried out under the guidance of established university policies.

Required Qualifications
  1. 1½ years job-related work experience.  Related education and/or training may substitute for some experience.
  2. High school diploma or GED.
  3. Finalist candidates must satisfactorily complete pre-employment background checks.

Preferred Qualifications
   • Banner experience.
   • Experience in Microsoft PowerPoint, Publisher and Photo Editor.
