General Description

Manage, organize and coordinate all on-air and on-line production for KPLU and Jazz24’s programming, Traffic, Development and Promotions departments.  In addition, the Production Manager will work with the Public Radio Partners on all underwriting activities. The material produced by the Production Director is central in creating the overall sound of KPLU and Jazz24.  Reports to the Assistant General Manager.

Required Qualifications
  1. 5 years experience in broadcasting is required, with a minimum of three years experience in broadcast production, writing, editing or hosting.
  2. High School Diploma/GED. A Bachelors degree is preferred.
  3. This position requires AFTRA membership.
  4. Finalist candidates must satisfactorily complete pre-employment background check.
