Assistant Professor, full-time, tenure track position; salary commensurate with qualifications and experience + benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Teach a six-course annual load including both introductory and upper division courses. The successful candidate will also contribute to interdisciplinary programs.
- Teach introductory, undergraduate classes in biological anthropology (with lab) and archaeological anthropology.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. is preferred, although applications from ABD candidate will be considered.
- Research and teaching specialty in New World civilizations.
- Commitment to effective teaching at the undergraduate level is required.
- A willingness to involve students in research is desirable.
