Assistant Professor, full-time, tenure track position; salary commensurate with qualifications and experience + benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Teach six courses per year.
- Teach at least one course each year that contributes to the University’s Chinese Studies Program.
Qualifications
- Ph.D.
- Must exhibit a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching undergraduates and possess a coherent research agenda.
- Trained in comparative methods with a primary concentration in East Asian religions and facility in appropriate languages.
- Expertise in the religions of China preferred.
- Familiarity with the Lutheran tradition of higher education is highly desired.
