FT; Sunday – Thursday; 9pm – 5:30am

General Description

Under the direction of the Cleaning Services Manager and in collaboration with the Custodial Supervisors, the Carpet/Floor Technician is responsible for the maintenance of all carpets and floors in all administrative and academic buildings and residence halls.  Some overtime is required and vacation approval may be limited during peak activity periods.  Reports to the Cleaning Services Manager.

Required Qualifications
  1. 6 months work experience in carpet/floor care.
  2. High School diploma or GED.
  3. Valid Driver’s License (Must have had a valid driver’s license for at least 2yrs).
  4. Finalist candidates must satisfactorily complete pre-employment background check, physical exam, pass PLU’s Driver’s Certification Training; and provide an original copy of their Driving Record (5yr Employment Abstract).
