General Description

The Catering manager oversees all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the facility, the successful implementation of the facility’s events; and the standards, procedures, and supervision of staff associated with the Catering operation.  Under the general direction of the Director, ensures clean, efficient and quality service to customers.  Reports to the Director of Dining & Culinary Services.

Required Qualifications
  1. Three years of progressive experience in food service management.
  2. High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in a related field desired.
  3. Must possess a valid Washington State Food Handler's Permit.
  4. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must have had a valid driver's license for at least 2 years.
  5. Finalist candidates must satisfactorily complete pre-employment background check, physical exam, pass PLU's internal Driver's Certification Training, and provide an original copy of their Driving Record (5 yr Employment Abstract).
