This was a six slide presentation about ourselves. It was to be presented to the class on the first day.

Inserting photos and text into PowerPoint. Also, selecting basic backgrounds and headings.

We were given a handout and asked to replicate it exactly using a Word document.

Through the usage of fonts and tools such as, centered, right and left alignment and clip art I used word applications to format a replica of the original handout.

We were asked to demonstrate the four princples of design in a Word document.

Learning how to apply shapes and color to make Word documents more appealing. Through the demonstraction of each C.R.A.P. design principle.

We were asked to create a PowerPoint presentation 10-15 slides long. This PowerPoint would be played continuously at a kiosk.

This assignment allowed me to apply all of the design concepts to a PowerPoint while give examples of how each works. Also, the assignment allowed to me to practice making a timed slide show. Meaning each slide appears based of the timing of the creator.

This was my first time playing around with the program. This project allowed me to develop a basic understanding for the program.

This In Design project allowed us to create recipe cards for cherry pie. We were given the recipe and told to create a card with the given text included.

I learned how to size the In Design document and how to apply all the design elements learned earlier in the semester to the recipe card. I used fonts, borders, colors, images and swatches to create an attractice recipe card.

We were instructed to develop a poster for a swimming lessons. We were provided pictures and text.

I learned how to size the In Design document and how to apply all the design elements learned earlier in the semester to the swim. I used fonts, borders, colors, images, bleeds and swatches to create an attractive poster. I also began to slightly understand PhotoShop during this assignment. Despite the fact I used it on other assignments- I had no idea how it worked.
