Program Outcome:To assume responsibility and accountability for professional practice. I assumed responsibility to my learning when I met all of the health care requirements asked of nursing students by PLU. I completed a CPR certification course, and received the necessary immunizations before the deadline. AIDS Training In nursing 220 I completed 7 hours of AIDS education training to be knowledgeable on the subject prior to interaction with a clinical setting.
Professional Clinical Practice Future responsibility and accountability As a new RN venturing into the workforce, I will take these values of accountability and responsibility which PLU has helped to enforce in me, and I will portray myself professionally in everything I do. When dealing with conflict, with inappropriate coworkers, or chaotic work environment, I will use the skills and intrinsic values for professionalism to deal with these issues effectively and appropriately. |
