Responsibilities of Council
General Responsibilities
The Council shall supervise, control, and direct the affairs of the organization, pursue its purposes, and determine its policies, consistent with the policies of the University. They can raise funds and receive gifts and other assets on behalf of the organization.
Composition
The Council will be comprised of volunteers from the membership. The chairs of the standing committees will serve on the Council as ex-officio members. The Council size will be from 5 to 10 members.
Length of Term of Council Members
All members shall serve for a two-year term with no limitation on the number of terms.
Meetings
The Council shall meet a minimum of once each calendar year.
