LIFE/Elderhostel

Who We Are

An "At Home' Elderhostel Program

Seasoned adults care about continuing their education and L.I.F.E. provides the opportunities for new learning experiences while building relationships with others who share common goals and interests.

Pacific Lutheran University, Elderhostel, and adults within Pierce County have created an organization that provides a wide breadth of educational opportunities at a modest cost. This institute of self-motivated learners allows us to define our own educational experiences. It provides opportunities of empowering us to continue learning, to expand our horizons, and to enhance our personal development.

Our PLU affliation is with the Center for Public Service under the directorship of Ione Crandall.

L.I.F.E. is a volunteer driven organization with no paid staff. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to serving active adults who are fifty years and older.
