Isn't it easy to purchase a ticket and attend a musical or play resulting in an enjoyable evening? But…..there are many decisions that have to be made prior to that final production that you see. Tacoma Musical Playhouse presents this class on how a musical is produced from an idea, to casting, stage setting, production and the numerous steps in between. You will be able to go behind the scenes of a musical productions and see all the steps it takes to present the final product--“The Show!” Also, Jon Rake will give the class the history of TMP. TMP is in its 15th season as a non-profit community theater company and its mission is “Enriching lives through the art form of musical theater.” Check out TMP's website: http://tmp.org/company.aspx for upcoming musicals.
