The closest
"research" university is, of course, the University of
Washington. They have a number of terrific seminars and
programs in mathematics, and their mathematics
library
contains many great sources for mathematical research
projects.
CAMEL -- the Web Service of the Canadian
mathematical community
The Geometry Center -- though the Geometry
Center is now defunct, this site contains a very neat collection
of videos and applications related to geometry.
Project
Mathematics -- contains excellent resources for teaching
mathematics, including a prize-winning collection of videos
MathDL -- an MAA
online resource math
teachers and students
The University of Illinois at Chicago Employment Resources Guide -- excellent tips for
those about to enter the job market and for those currently in
academia!
The Primes
Pages -- probably the most comprehensive information on primes
available on the web. Contains info about subjects ranging from
the Riemann hypothesis, to fast Fourier transforms, to the largest
known primes. You can also download software here for computing
Mersenne primes.
