Duplication

Multimedia Services has facilities to duplicate cassette tapes, CD's, videotape, DVD's and film.

We can duplicate European format media to United States standard format.

If you need cassettes or CD's copied please either come to the Multimedia Office or fill out the online form.

For duplication of videotapes or DVD's please come to the Multimedia Office.

Our turn around time for duplication depends on various factors.  We can usually have your copies for you within one week.

Prices for duplication vary, please call the main desk or ask when you drop off your items.

Multimedia Services will not infringe on copyright laws.  Do not ask.  The copying and use of audio visual materials is strictly controlled by the Copyright Act of 1976, Title 17 of the United States Code, in particular, Section 110.  It is the responsibility of the media owner to insure compliance with the Copyright Law.
If material is in fact copyrighted you must have a letter from either the distributor or producer of the media material stating that you are authorized to make a copy.  This letter must be on professional letterhead, dated, have a phone number and have an authorized signature.  Multimedia Services must be able to validate letter before processing any duplication.  Multimedia Services must keep a copy of the letter on file.
