Students will build a catapult to launch a cotton ball the furthest distance.
Implement engineering concepts in the design and
construction of a model bridge while using as few craft sticks as possible.
Design and build a container of restricted size
with specified materials to protect an egg dropped from increasing heights.
Measure competency in mathematical concepts that
relate to the students' current math course.
Build a single trebuchet designed to launch a
projectile as far as possible, land projectiles within two ground targets, and
have the lowest ratio of score to device weight.
Organize and present thoughts orally with
preparation from selected topics.

farthest distance with a sail that is powered by a standard 10-inch stationary
fan.
