Remembering the past year...
» During clinical experience in Long-term Care (N220), I was given the opportunity to provide clinically competent care, although I have yet to include evidence-based practices. My future clinical experiences will, however, allow me to implement evidence-based practice to better care for patients. » I will have the opportunity to participate in the research that stimulates evidence-based practice in N360: Nursing Research and Informatics.
Evidence outside of Nursing
» In Pathophysiology (N280), I had the opportunity to research a topic of clinical importance. In a group, I researched Seizures and Epilepsy and learned how to recognize the condition, the causes, and ways to treat it. Our group prepared a topic outline as well as a short Powerpoint presentation.
