JuliAnne Rose ‘13

Video Team Leader

 

A double major in Political Science and Global Studies, JuliAnne brings her global awareness to a wide range of MediaLab activities. Invited to join MediaLab in Spring 2011, JuliAnne serves as senior producer and researcher for the upcoming documentary “Sidetracked: Redefining Rail” and is a lead member of a research team producing a documentary on Islamophobia in the United States, a film that will premiere in Fall 2012. Suring the Summer of 2011, JuliAnne interned in the Media Relations Department of World Vision, the global relief organization headquartered in Federal Way, Wash. JuliAnne has also written articles and taken photos that have appeared in Tacoma Weekly and Scene magazine.

Meghan Arntson ‘12

Graphic Designer

 

Meghan is a double major in Art and Communication, with respective concentrations in Graphic Design and Public Relations/Advertising. After joining MediaLab in Spring 2010, Meghan served as a designer for two MediaLab films: “Oil Literacy” and “Overexposed: The Cost of Compassion.” She also worked on multiple design projects for the Korean Women’s Association. In addition, Meghan has worked on video projects for KWA and Pi Kappa Delta. Meghan has served as vice–president of PLU’s student chapter of AIGA, a professional organization for designers. Meghan was also a graphic design intern at Earth Economics, helping create report layouts and brand a new web tool called SERVES.

Samuel Hosman ‘14

Graphic Designer

 

Sam, a double major in Art and Comminication with an emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising, was accepted into MediaLab in Spring 2011. Apart from Medialab, Sam has done design work for Impact, ASPLU’s student run advertising organization, PLU’s School of Arts + Communication, the PLU School of Business, and the City of Tacoma. He is currently co–editor of PLU’s literary arts journal, Saxifrage.

Hannah Kreutz ‘14

Graphic Designer

 

Hannah is an Art and Design major with a concentration in Graphic Design. She was accepted into MediaLab in Spring 2012. In addition to MediaLab, Hannah is a member of reDesign, a project that incorporates sustainable practices within design. After graduation, Hannah plans to pursue a career working with a non–profit organization.

Igor Strupinskiy ‘14

Photographer

 

A double major in Business and Economics with concentrations in Finance and Modern Economic Enterprise, Igor’s primary interests in terms of media are photography and photojournalism. His work has appeared in PLU’s student newspaper, the Mooring Mast, as well as being professionally published in The News Tribune of Tacoma and the Ft. Lewis Ranger. Igor was accepted into MediaLab for Spring semester 2012.
