Where I Hope To Be In A Few Years
I began my studies at PLU as a Biology Major. I learned a bit about Biology and Chemistry, but most importantly, I learned that I did not want to be a Biology Major. During my Freshman J-Term I took a 190 class in Microeconomics where I found my educational passion. Unknowingly, I took Peter Drucker’s first action conclusion of finding out, “What are my strengths?”: “Concentrate on your strengths. Place yourself where your strengths can produce performance and results”(Drucker, Ch. 15). In this class, I became enthralled in the supply and demand graphs and in the elasticity graphs that map a customer’s willingness to buy a “good” at various prices. However, the most import thing that I learned was that this is the field in which I plan to spend the rest of my college career studying.
