Quote from Mother Teresa: "Speak tenderly to them. Let there be kindness in your face, in your eyes, in your smile, in the warmth of your greeting. Always have a cheerful smile. Don't only give your care, but give your heart as well." Coat of arms. ![]() |
Coat of Arms This coat of arms represents my nursing philosophy. It encompasses four important aspects of nursing: service compassion, love, and understanding. A nurse must exhibit all four of these attributes in order to provide the best care. An attitude of service and compassion allows a nurse to provide care that is gentle and keeps the nurse humble. A nurse must also love what he or she does and treat their patients with love and respect. Understanding is important for two reasons. A nurse must understand the procedures they perform and the medical aspects of nursing as well as understanding each patient's unique situation. |
