14, 3pm	Artist Series: Composers of the Great American Songbook David Deacon-Joyner, pianist and Director of Jazz Studies at PLU, hosts the annual Valentine's Day concert event, "Composers of the Great American Songbook". Joined by PLU faculty jazz bassist Clipper Anderson and special guest vocalists Gail Pettis and Dennis Hastings, Dr. Deacon-Joyner will feature the music of Frank Loesser and Cole Porter. Join David Deacon-Joyner and friends for the evening of romantic, swinging, and timeless songs from the Golden Age of the American popular song.
