Planning has begun for the creation of a ceremonial "front door" to the PLU campus. The new campus entrance will highlight the historic Harstad Hall and provide a more welcoming entrance for visitors.

Project Overview

Planning has begun for the creation of an entrance to the PLU campus. The new campus entrance will:
  • Provide a welcoming front door
  • Provide an area for drop-off and pick-up
  • Provide directional signage for visitors
  • Provide short-term parking for use by visitors to obtain a parking permit
  • Provide signage that identifies the university, consistant with signs at Morken Center and 127th Street and Park Avenue
  • Maintain the historic character of Harstad and Xavier Halls.
