Distinguished Alumni / School of Nursing

The Nursing Alumni Board and the School of Nursing have recognized Distinguished Alumni each year since 1992.

Photographs of Distinguished Alumni are displayed in the School of Nursing main office (Ramstad Building, 214).

Nominating Distinguished Alumni

To nominate an individual, complete the Distinguished Nursing Alumni form, and, if possible, submit three letters of recommendation along with the form. One of the letters of recommendation may be from the person submitting the nomiation.

The letters of recommendation should address the following:

leadership and recognition by peers or community.
educational achievement, publishing and/or research.
