Several endowed scholarships are offered through the
university to currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate nursing students. Additionally, the
School of Nursing regularly informs its students of outside scholarship
opportunities that become available. Information and applications are regularly posted on a bulletin board in Ramstad Building.
Below is a sample list of grants, schlarships, loan repayment programs, online search engines and
other resources for students seeking financial aid for their nursing
education.

(Administrative Building), offers financial aid information (i.e.,
scholarships, loans, work study) for current PLU students. Contact them

American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN)

opportunities for current undergraduate and graduate nursing students,
loan repayment/forgiveness programs, and general resources for health
professionals and students. The PLU School of Nursing is an AACN member school and is
accredited by CCNE, an accrediting body that is affiliated with AACN. Health Careers Foundation http://www.hcfinfo.org/ Providing
scholarships and low-interest loans to students of health care
education programs, including nursing. Programs focus on assisting
non-traditional students and alleviating the shortage of trained
healthcare professionals.

students are invited each year, offers professional development
opportunities and support for nurses. Their website offers a list of

Offers nursing scholarships, grants, and loan repayment programs for health professionals and nursing students. Students who wish to serve in facilities/areas experiencing a shortage of nurses after graduation in particular should check out the HRSA Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program (NELRP) and the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) scholarship and loan repayment programs.
