In Nursing 270, we often worked in groups. As our main group project, we were asked to make a presentation and write a paper on a topic of our choice. The topic my group chose was Mandatory Reporting by Name of HIV and Hepatitis B patients to the Health Department. In our paper, we had to make a compelling argument for and against this topic. This paper incorporated the dimensions of person, nursing and environment in a thought provoking way. (Will be included when completed)

In my health promotion class, I was also able to incorporate person, nursing and environment. This was through the assignment of doing a teaching project. My lab partner and I decided to teach hand washing to a preschool class. This was a great way to introduce me to the importance of health promotion, even at the youngest ages.
