Emerging from the vast frozen wilderness, April brings her enthusiasm and wit to PLU's outdoor program. When she isn't out in the elements you may find her in the art building. April ranks junior class standing (even though she has been here since 2001) and shows promise in her future endeavors. April, we love you.

Brian "The Trout" Donahue grew up in Poor and Tortured, WA where he worked as a fruit picker during the summer and an ice hockey coach in the winter. Brian has a love of fishing and claims to have once caught one the size of a small bear!! Brian's interests also extend to polar bear dips off of bridges in Ollala in the winter and beating up small children for their lunch money. Brian is a senior and will be graduating with a degree in theater. By theater we mean Geoscience.

Heather is not your average crazy, Coloradian, vegetarian. She is also Ms. OR three years running. You better catch her fast though because she wont ever be in the USA for more than a year at a time, because she is wanted for murder (by murder we mean her good looks, that could have been responsible for the death of P.J. Killblaine on March 23, 1978) Also, she's kind of a big deal.

Kyle Muir is really good looking. He is a Norsk God with facial hair. He loves rock climbing, showboarding, kayaking, and the outdoors in general (it's genetic, ask him how) He saved a fellow guide from a siberian tiger once, because he is that good of a guy.

Born deep in the desert of Arizona, Moriah can calm even the most aggressive Lute with a simple strum of her well tuned harp(not pictured). She is crazy and you should probably not get within five feet of her. She is an avid mountain biker, swam with sharks for 23 years deep in the Antarctic seas, and was the first woman to row across the north pole in dinghy. She survived solely on the fat of Santa since the polar bears were all dead due to Mycah's truck.
Moriah Zimmerman
Paige is a renowned world traveler who has seen sights that the meek may never dream of. She currently resides in Washington where she spends her weekends leading Lutes on OR trips, her favorite being showshoeing. She is a Libra.

Matt Shmitz is the Shmitz minus the m. Matty is from uptown New York (Montucky) and likes to ride his segway around PLU's campus. The youngest of the guides, little Shmitz, tries to set himself apart with his long hair (not pictured), nonchalant attitude (pictured) and hot pink cell phone. Matt's favorite outdoor activity is whichever one he is doing right now. On weekends you can find Matt playing WOW.

Mycah hails from Omaha, Nebraska where he enjoys romping around in his 2007 Chevy "Global Warming" truck.
He was born at the age of seven which was a 14 hour burden for his mother. Due to his late arrival he had trouble making friends in the beginning.
Eventually Mycah grew to be a fairly mal-adjusted young man who plans to utilize his degree in chemistry to create an antibody for antibiotic resistant staph infections.

Terra Vandewiele has come to PLU from somewhere within the state of Oregon. Terra does not have a small head, she just has huge glasses!! Her glasses protect her sensitive eyes, Terra has a well developed tapetum lucidum which increases her ability to see at night. Terra comes to the OR team with a wealth of knowledge an a "can do" attitude. Her interests are climbing on things, hot springs, and binomial nomenclature.

Stephen Malachi Nicollo Odell (contrary to popular belief) has no relation to the farmer and the dell. He is actually a wood sprite who grows to human size to take Lutes on tree-climbing expeditions. This summer Stephen intends to ascend "The Red Twins" a pair of cedar trees that are just outside of Pflueger. Now Stevsie, get on the floor!!!
