Pre-Billing Statement
Parents, during the first week of July your student will receive a Student Pre-Billing Statement for Fall Semester 2010 and a form to apply for an Early Payment Lute Discount for Fall 2010. To insure that your statement will reflect all of the correct information, ask your student if he or she has completed the following:
- Paid the $200 Advance Tuition Deposit
- Accepted their Offer of Financial Aid and completed all requirements
- Submitted their Payment Contract 2010-2011 to the Student Services Center
- Completed the Meal and Housing Contracts
- Waived out of the $450 PLU Health Insurance if student is already covered by a comparable primary health insurance plan (http://www.plu.edu/health-center/).
Be sure to complete the above by July 1 for an accurate pre-billing statement. During the first week of August, you will receive your regular Fall Bill. Try to get anything that was not completed by July 1, completed by July 31 for an accurate Fall Bill.
Billing statements are sent during the first week of every month. The reverse side of the Student Pre-Billing Statement will provide an explanation of each section on the front. These charges are not due at this time unless you would like to take advantage of the Early Payment Lute Discount. If you do not want or do not qualify for the discount, fall charges are due August 25, 2010.
The Fall 2010
Early Payment Lute Discount is a way for you to receive a $75 discount if you owe $3,000 or more for Fall 2010 and you pay in full no later than July 25, 2010. No exceptions to that date.
Further information regarding eligibility for the discount is detailed on the form. Call the Student Services Center with any questions.
Calling as a parent or as a significant other, you must have the student’s PLU ID number and their Personal Identification Number (PIN) to have access to any information regarding financial aid or their student account. Information will not be released unless both numbers are available.
