Parents

The PLU Parents Council (just a few of whom are pictured above), sponsored by the Office of Constituent Relations, was created to provide advice and support to students’ families.  Parents Council members help to inform other parents about aspects of the university, strive to promote the welfare and advancement of the university, and encourage members to participate in Parents Council projects. The Parents Council is involved in many activities throughout the year, which include hosting a question/answer session for parents during orientation as well as having personal phone conversations with new parents to the university in the parent-to-parent calling program.
