Drug Free University | Parents HandbookIn keeping with the local, state, and federal laws, the possession, use, distribution, or sale of illegal drugs is prohibited. Illegal drugs and narcotics include, but are not limited to, those categories often known as cannabis, acids, hallucinogens, barbituates, amphetamines, narcotics and the illicit use of prescription drugs. Drug paraphernalia is also prohibited. Students voluntarily seeking assistance for a drug-related problem may do so without fear of disciplinary action, and will be treated with the utmost sensitivity and confidentiality. Such assistance may be provided through any of the following: Residential Life staff, Counseling Center, Health Services, or the Student Life Office.
