Visitation

Residence Hall Visitation | Parents Handbook


Students of the opposite sex may visit other students’ rooms in university residence halls according to the visitation policy approved by the Board of Regents.  Visitation is restricted to persons of the same sex between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. Monday-Friday and 3:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.  Public areas such as lounges, hallways, and kitchens do not have visitation hours.  Any overnight guests must be of the same sex as the resident student who is hosting them.  Each member of the hall is expected to understand and comply with the university and hall policies and to make them known to guests.  Visitation is unrestricted in Kreidler and South Halls.
