Definition of Nursing
Professional Statement My one year goal is to continue to apply myself to my school work with the goal of keeping a B average or better in all of my classes. I also would like to stay active in Delta Iota Chi. My five year goal is to graduate with my BSN and obtain a job in an intensive care unit. I plan on attending graduate school and as of right now I am considering a graduate degree in Nurse Anesthesiology. Program Objectives1. Demonstrate the ability to incorporate the dimensions of person, nursing, and environment to promote health in a variety of situations 2. Provide evidence-based clinically competent care. 3. Enact the role of service as a professionally educated member of society. 4. Apply the nursing process in the provision of direct and indirect care of individuals, families, and communities in a variety of settings and across diverse populations. 5. Collaborate in the design, management, and coordination of care. 6. Assume responsibility and accountability for professional practice. 7. Participate in processes to influence the health care delivery system. |
