Community Service

9th grade
*Kai Makana- Youth ocean awareness group. We have done many beach clean ups, water quality testing and presentations. We also traveled to New Zealand to teach the people there how to protect their ocean. It was also a great culture exchange experience. Our goal was to teach the  Hawaiian community how to protect their ocean not just for us but for the generations to come. We want them to enjoy the ocean like we have. Also to be a ware that there is a lot of pollution in our ocean that is not just hurting us but the creatures who live there.
