Dr. Jason Stockton coached the Lady Lutes during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Jason played lacrosse at U.C. San Diego and U.C. Davis, where he was an assistant coach before moving to the Pacific Northwest. He coached the P.L.U. Men's Lacrosse team from 1999 through 2005, helping them become one of the prominent men's collegiate programs in the Northwest.
When Jason took over the P.L.U. women's program in 2004, the team had talent but lacked direction and organization. The team had operated without a regular coach for several years. The team that had won only once the previous season, ended up advancing to the playoffs in 2004, and upset powerhouse Western Washington University on their way to the Final Four. The Lutes also advanced to the Final Four in 2005.
Jason is a chiropractor in a private practice in Tacoma, WA. He and wife Courtney have two children--son Connor (5) and daughter Cameron (2). Jason remains involved with the program and has served as an assistant coach the last three seasons under coach Boise.
