Previous Seasons In the past five years, the PLU Women's lacrosse team has established itself as consistently being one of the best teams in the Northwest at the club level. For over four years in a row the PLU Women's Lacrosse team has been in the top four teams in the league out of over 12 teams each year, being the only Division 3 team to compete with Division 1 power-houses such as Boise State University, Univeristy of Oregon, University of Washington, and Western Washington University. |

04-05 Season 05-06 Season Under the direction of Gillian
Boice, the team did the best it has ever done in history. The PLU
Women's lacrosse team beat University of Washington for the first time
in history. The Lutes ended fourth in regular season play. At
the League Championships in Eugene Oregon, the Lutes
beat Whitman to advance into the semi-finals. During semi-finals the
Lutes pulled a miraculous win against University of Washington, Heather
Brook scoring the winning goal in the last few minutes of regular time.
The Lutes were defeated by the Ducks and fell short of one victory away
from the national tournament. Emily Bruce, Cellen Coakley, and Courtney Stringer were named League All Stars. |
06-07 Season The Lutes finished second overall in regular season play, under the direction of senior captain and goalie Cellen Coakley. At League Championships in Portland, the lady Lutes fell short to Western Washington University, finishing fourth overall in the tournament. Cellen Coakley, Courtney Stringer, Jen Ng, Heather Brook and Amy Glenister were named League All Stars. |
