Campus Copiers

Convenience Copiers

The Convenience Copier Program was created in 1997 to reduce costs and enhance quality control for copied material.

Copy Center Feature

Previously, each department independently arranged for the lease of its copier.

Our staff in the Campus Convenience Copier Program administers the 70 copying/printing/scanning/faxing machines located in offices and workrooms throughout campus. The university partners with a vendor for the lease of this equipment (currently Ricoh). Ownership and maintenance of equipment is the responsibility of the vendor. University Printing facilitates management of the equipment, including communication with departments, inventory, supplies distribution, recordkeeping, leasing and meter readings.

Copy equipment in the Convenience Copier Program is capable of:

Toner cartridges are available at the University Printing Customer Service Desk at no charge.

While the copiers located in individual offices may be more convenient for the user, it is much more expensive to make copies on a Convience Copier than it is to have your copies made in the Copy Center. For large runs or complex jobs it always pays to send your project to the Copy Center. Same-day service on all jobs makes it even more affordable.

Over the years, the Convenience Copier Program has proven to be a cost effective innovation. The university experiences a savings on an annual basis; the success of this program is due to the support of the campus community.

In addition to the staff of Printing & Publications, experts on the Ricoh Helpline are also available to answer your questions and to take maintenance and service calls: 800-432-9787
