Welcome to Partnerships and Professional Development. PPD is a division within the School of Education & Movement Studies focusing professional development for in-service teachers. We strive to give those who qualify for our programs opportunities to excel in their profession and exceed the basic requirements for continued certification.

Two major programs for in-service professional development are the Washington State Professional Certificate (ProCert) and the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS). Pacific Lutheran University's ProCert Prep program had a makeover!  The ProCert Prep program will look significantly different than years past.  We are excited to add some unique online tools to this year's program.
