We believe our success is due to the high quality, rigorous education and the support we provide our students. Faculty form relationships with students, discuss career plans, and provide assistance for students in a variety of ways throughout their college careers and beyond. In addition, students in our local chapter of Psi Chi and the Psychology Club work together to sponsor activities for our majors, minors, and all others enrolled in our courses.

Our alumni are doing exciting things. For a partial listing of recent alumni and their current activities, check out our alumni web page. PLU psychology students are highly respected by employers. We have also had very good success placing students in graduate programs. In addition to graduate training in psychology, PLU psychology graduates have gone on to medical school, law school, seminary, occupational therapy, graduate programs in counseling, social work, occupational therapy, physical therapy, business, education, and other areas. In their graduate studies, our students are often recognized for their abilities by receiving fellowships and grants or by being selected to work as graduate teaching or research assistants.
