In the seventh week of each fall and spring semester, midterm warning rosters are sent to instructors via campus mail. Warning rosters are for full-term courses only. Grades cannot be entered on the Banner Web system.
A midterm warning grade is submitted as a "U" and should be assigned to students whose work is at a C- or below. No transcript notation is made, and academic standing is not affected.
Comments related to a student may be indicated on the Student Alert Form. Click on the following link to access this form: http://www.plu.edu/~provost/. You will find the form under "Important Links" at the bottom of the website.Utilize this form to identify students whom you believe would benefit from further intervention. This form may be used for concerns about students in academic difficulty (e.g., study skills, test anxiety, writing, time management, etc.) or for non-academic issues.
