The pass/fail option is limited to eight
credit hours, and only one course may be taken pass/fail in fulfillment
of general university or core requirements or the College of Arts and
Sciences requirement.
Grades of A through C- are regarded as passing
and grades D+ through E as failing. Pass/fail grades do not affect your
grade point average.
Pass/fail forms may be obtained at the
Office of the Registrar or on the wall display across from the Student
Services Center. Once submitted, the pass/fail option may not be reversed.
Please return completed forms to the Student Services
Center. The deadline for each term is noted in the front pages of the
Class Schedule or at Pass/Fail Deadlines.
