Daniel Renfrow
is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Pacific Lutheran University
in Parkland, Washington. He joined the department in 2006 after
completing a Ph.D. in sociology at the University of Washington
(2005). Professor Renfrow's areas of study include social psychology,
masculinities and status processes. His scholarship has appeared in the
Handbook of Social Psychology, Symbolic Interaction and Men and
Masculinities. He is currently working on several projects including an
edited volume on teaching portfolios within the discipline, a chapter
outlining an agenda to combat bullying in our nation's schools and a revision of the text Gendered Situations,
Gendered Selves (with Judith Howard and Jocelyn Hollander).
