Just who are the RHA Executives?

Below you will find pictures of and more information about the 2007-2008 RHA Executives, including their positions, and goals for their term in office.

RHA Mission Statement:
Residence Hall Association is a group of student leaders with a common goal of developing community at Pacific Lutheran University. In particular we do this by coordinating events and programs as well as providing a forum for residents to voice and act on issues or concerns they are passionate about.

Executive President - Ian Jamieson         

 Office Hours: Monday 4-6; Friday 2-4

Major:  Mathematics
Year in school:  Senior
Living in:  South Hall
ianGrew up in: Omak, WA (North Central Washington)
Why I love PLU: THE PEOPLE!!
My goals for RHA: To create an organization that successfully puts on amazing programs and is also the voice of the on-campus population.
I am passionate about:  leadership, peanut butter, and sports
Fun fact: I am the 11th person in my family to attend PLU.


Executive Vice-President - Casey Hart      

Office Hours:  Monday & Wednesday 7:35-8:55AM; Sunday 7:35-8:55PM

Grew up in: Edgewood, WA
Why I love PLU:  I have been blessed by so many ways by the PLU community. It has truly become a home away from home. And, I have caseya fantastic opportunity to learn in small classes with faculty that genuinely care.
My goals for RHA: To become a present organization in student's everyday lives.
I am  passionate about: Jesus, Nicole, philosophy, racquet ball, mathematical puzzles, music, A POOL TABLE IN RHA'S OFFICE!
Fun fact: I love to swim in cold water. The colder the better.


Executive Finance Director - Josh Kohl

Grew up in:  Phoenix, Arizona
Why I love PLU:  PLU has a strong community and everyone is friendly andjosh genuine. The professors are also extremely accessible and are committed to every student!
My goals for RHA: I want RHA to be a student-led organization that is more than a programming board, but is also a voice for the student concerns. I want RHA to be an organization that isn't afraid to try something new and shake things up.
I am passionate about: helping people, extra-curricular activities, and having fun.
Fun fact: I love to swim and dive in my spare time!

Grew up in:  Idaho, Minnesota, and Tacoma, WARuth
Why I love PLU: The close knit community and the great people!
My goals for RHA:  To put on a fabulous program that reminds us how much we love PLU.
I am passionate about: making and keeping amazing friends, writing, FRIENDS (the t.v. show), tennis, and friendly competition!
Fun fact:  I am the pickiest eater in the entire world!



Executive Communications Director- Allen Schliebe

Why I love PLU: The atmosphere and genuineness of the people.
My goals for RHA:
I am passionate about: Music, Writing, Reading, and Sports
Fun fact:
  The cigarette lighter was invented before the match.




Executive Environmental, Justice, and Diversity Director - Eric Pfaff

Major:  English Writing and Environmental Studies

Living in:  South Hall
Grew up in: Bellevue, WA
Why I love PLU: The people!!Homecoming Eric
My goals for RHA: To be a voice for students living in residence halls, especially when it comes to issues regarding sustainability, justice, and diversity. Also to program fun, and new events dealing with the same afformentioned issues.
I am passionate about: Adventure, exploring, learning, meeting new people, writing, reading, new places
Fun fact:  I like to swing dance!




Executive Spiritual Activities Director - Catherine Stout                                           

Office Hours: Monday 1-3; Friday 7-9AM

Major:  PreMed Biology
Minors: Chemistry, Music, and Religion

Living in:  Ordalcatherine
Grew up in:  Goldendale, WA
Why I love PLU: The community is wonderful!
My goals for RHA:  Put on programs that rock and be recognized as a resource and representative voice for the students at PLU.
I am passionate about: Jesus, music, CS Lewis, science, and people in general.
Fun fact: I once belly flopped off of a 13 foot tall pylon when I was a counselor on a canoe trip. I didn't do it on purpose and it kind of hurt, but it was awesome.
