About Me I am a junior at Pacific Lutheran University majoring in Physical Education. I love moving around My PhilosophyThere is a common idea that education and
teaching belong in buildings taught by teachers. I disagree with this notion. I
believe that most of the learning that occurs in one’s lifetime will be done
outside of schools. However, I do believe the learning that takes place at
schools should be the students’ foundation. I believe the school should support
outside learning and should teach students to be prepared for life after school.
As a future physical educator, I plan to teach my students life skills. I plan
for my students to learn comprehensively about their own body systems and how
they keep us alive, the important muscle and bone groups, in case they get an
injury, and how to exercise for life. |

and motivating people to be active. Some students have negative feelings towards exercise. It will be my pleasure to give a positive perspective towards physical activity. I also enjoy upbeat music and will use my rhythmic skills in leading aerobic activities.
