| Every class I have taken so far at PLU has taught me that nursing is an all encompassing profession. All aspects of care intertwine and I am proud of myself for being able to combine my skills effectively when managing care for a patient. I am looking forward to the next challenges that my Med Surg and Mental Health classes will provide. I will work diligently to provide the utmost respect to the patients I care for while ensuring they have a safe environment to thrive in. |
My nursing philosophy A nurse is someone who is altruistic in nature and has no expectation of reward. Nursing is a journey that not everyone can take. For some their journey leads them to riches and fame, and for others they are led by another calling of greatness. That calling is one that provides satisfaction from knowing that you made a difference in the life of another. |
