Cathie A. Rohleder

It has long been my dream to earn a college degree. I chose to do things a bit backwards though, first starting my family, and then starting my career.

I have worked at St. Francis Hospital as a secretary for seven years, and chose to start a career in nursing because of the nursing staff I have encountered there. I am considering nursing in a few different areas such as; Cardiac Cath Lab, Emergency Room, or Hospice care. I am sure that my time as a student will assist me in coming to a final decision and 'find my personal Calcutta.'

As I come to the end of my first year of nursing school, I am excited about all I have learned, and all I will continue to learn as a student at Pacific Lutheran University.
