Some info about me.......

  • I was born and raised in Benton Harbor, Michigan and graduated from high school in 1985. Upon completion of high school, I proudly served in the U.S. Army for fifteen years as a Black Hawk helicopter mechanic/platoon sergeant. After a few years of trying different jobs (CNC machinist, semi-truck driver) I decided to full fill a life long dream to become the first person in my family to get a college education. After some soul searching, I decided to pursue a career in nursing. In 2005, I began my post-high school education at Olympic College and after two years of hard work, I completed my Associates in Arts and Science with honors from Olympic College. I chose Pacific Lutheran University for their outstanding reputation of academic excellence.
