Description: Use the Sakai learning management system to quickly
setup a course web site. Hands-on activities will include developing a
syllabus, adding announcements, creating discussion groups, posting
Office documents, and exploring other functions. Goals:

SAKAI 102Using Sakai Project Workspaces(~1-2 Hrs) |
Description: Learn to use communication and collaboration tools of Sakai for use with student workgroups, committees, departments, and other collaborating groups. Covers use of announcements, calendar, discussion board, virtual chat, digital dropbox, and group resource sharing. |
SAKAI 103Sakai Collaboration Tools(2 Hrs) |
Description: Use the Sakai learning management system to
facilitate communication and collaboration among students or
workgroups. This workshop will focus on hands-on activities with the
following tools: Message Center, Email Archives, Discussion Board,
Chat, Drop Box, and Wiki.

Description: Sakai version 2.3 provides several new tools as well as improvements in functionality. This overview will provide a quick overview and tour of changes in the new Sakai release. |

Description: Interested in finding out what it takes to integrate podcasts/vodcasts into your courses? This session will provide an overview of tools and processes for creating podcasts and distributing them via the Sakai system. |
