God Cause

God, in an unusually clumsy moment,
bumped a blueprint which knocked over a bottle of ink
which, heavy with the weight of creation,
dripped down from the high-up heavens

and landed on a star
which came unmoored from its celestial post
and drifted down to earth;
and although it tried to be gentle

it landed hard
shaking loose a leaf
which landed at your feet
moments before you kissed me goodbye
